Internship Program Admissions

NOPIP is a consortium of different settings that include an inpatient forensic center, an inpatient adult psychiatric unit, a university counseling center, a medical and behavioral health clinic for Native Americans, and a private practice clinic for children and adolescents. Each is seeking candidates appropriate for that setting.

Minimal expectations include attending an APA accredited program in Counseling or Clinical Psychology, completion of, or significant progress toward completion of the dissertation, experience with the experimentally validated treatments and assessment techniques appropriate to the population (for example: children/adults/forensic). While no specific minimum requirement has been set, experience providing direct services is expected.
